We escaped to soak up some sun in Cabo San Lucas last February.  David, Robin and Juan Pablo graciously invited us to join them at their timeshare.  What a beautiful resort !  We had a great time. 

The horrible tornado in Joplin, Missouri, was only 40 miles from our home and it is so sad to see the devastation and loss of life it caused in just a few minutes.  My friend Cathy and I drove up to Joplin to see if we could lend a hand at the humane society or the hospital and saw everything first hand.

Winter 2012 is upon us but, so far, the super cold and snow have stayed to the north of us.  We're waiting for the other foot to drop !!

It doesn't seem possible that we have been in our home nearly seven years! How time flies! Tom took a sabbatical from his barbershop singing for awhile.  We want to travel with our new RV and enjoy the advantage of our free military Space A flights to "see the world"  Additionally, we have resigned from our positions on the Hospital Auxiliary Board but will continue to fill in for volunteers on an "as needed" basis.  This will give us some much needed uncommitted time off for awhile to travel.
